New Greenleaf Sports Promotion is a company dealing with sports & recreation including coaching, training and unleashing youth potentials in sports by organising competitions at different levels, locally, nationally and internationally.

Lake Manyara Marathon
This national renowned half marathon takes runners past some of the ward’s greatest attractions before heading to the finish line. With an amazing atmosphere and great support along the route, this will be the race you’ll never forget!

Lake Manyara Half Marathon will be happening close to Lake Manyara national park; Set below the steep Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara Half Marathon is an opportunity to explore a unique landscape of salt marshes and acacia forests where elephants, giraffes and the biggest population of baboons in the world roam free and a lot of Flamingos at Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara Half Marathon will take place in November in which November is a good month as the weather is good meaning not hot not cold and no rains.

The vision is to establish a sustainable community focused on running event, encouraging athletes and individuals of all levels to lead healthy lifestyles and further their personal fitness through running.

Our Mission

To facilitate, create and organize competition events in Tanzania so as to increase the engagement of community mostly youth in sports so as to increase their participation in international competitions and helping in the process of health development.

Marathon Demographic

We are looking for different groups of people, all genders as we believe that anyone can emerge as the champion of their community, and also all in need of a healthy lifestyle for sustainable communities. People from any part of the world will be welcomed to participate in Lake Manyara Half Marathon.
